How Does Contract Work?

When you hire a contractor through our recruitment firm, you’re gaining a significant advantage in scaling up your site or project staff, with minimal hassle.  

The contractor works for Taylor Ryan during the course of the contract. That means their employment contract sits with us, we manage their b-weekly payroll, and we handle all of the administration that goes with onboarding them.

Contractor Process

Job Intake

Once we have your service contract in place, an account manager will discuss your specific needs including required skill set, experience level, site location, and hourly pay.

Recruitment

Our team of recruiters are constantly sourcing, screening, and background-checking potential real estate and construction contractors so that we can quickly present you with a selection of candidates.

Working interview

Depending on the nature of the role, you have the choice of meeting a candidate for an interview or having them attend a working interview on site.

Payroll

We provide you and the contractor with access to our online system, allowing the contractor to submit their timesheet for your approval. We pay the contractor, and you receive a bi-weekly invoice for all associated costs.

Communication

You and the contractor will receive regular contact from your account manager to ensure everything is running smoothly. We are here to help solve any issues that come up, to ensure a great working relationship.

Contract Length

Typically our contractors end up employed full time with our client after six months,sometimes sooner. You are free to dismiss a contractor at any time if your circumstances change, but we do require a minimum intended commitment of three months.
